Lake Tahoe May 25-27, 2007 (297 images)
Here's the pics from our Memorial Day weekend at Lake Tahoe. We had a great time and packed a lot of activities into the two days. I woke up on Saturday at around 5:15 a.m. and walked down to the lake. The lake was like glass and the morning light on the mountains was incredible. After Starbucks and breakfast at the Embassy Suites, we drove out to Emerald Bay and then hiked down to the lake. We then did a shorter hike to see the famed balancing rock. We also did some kayaking on the lake (no pics). Sunday, we took the Heavenly gondola up to the ski slopes and hiked around up on the mountain. We ended Sunday with a leisurely cruise on the lake aboard the Tahoe Queen. We had a great time and are considering heading back there for July 4th.
