October 27 2007 Red Hills (20 images)
Here's pics from hiking trip to Red Hills. This is a big chunk of land in the Sierra foothills owned by the Bureau of Land Management. It's not quite as scenic as the higher Sierras but is also not as far from home. This area is only about an hours drive from the house whereas Yosmite is more like two. I had a great time and hiked about 10 miles or so.
