October 6 2007 - Pillar Point & Fitzgeral Marine Reserve (88 images)
Here's pics from our recent visit to the California Coast. Jordi had one of his friends, Aidan, join us. We went to Pillar Point at the North end of Half Moon Bay and then to Fitzgerald Marine Reserve just North of Half Moon Bay. The boys had a great time beachcombing at Pillar Point and collected many interesting seashells. Fitzgerald features one of the best tide pool areas I've been to yet. We had a great time exploring the little pockets of life and saw many sea snails, hermit crabs, star fish, crabs, seals, limpets, and other sea life. We had a great day - all about 2 hours from home!
