9-8-2007 Kings Canyon (51 images)
Here's pics from my trip to King's Canyon National Park.  This park is south of Yosemite and about a 3 hour drive south eas of us in Turlock.  King's Canyon is the deepest canyon in the U.S. with more than 8,000 feet of drop at it's deepest point.  I hiked about 11 miles with about 1,200 feet of elevation gain/drop.  I saw three bears (momma and two cubs) as well as two deer (a young buck and a doe) plus countless squirrels and lizards.  I had a great time - enjoy the pics.
