Here's pics from my visit to the coast over Labor Day weekend. I thought I had the family ready to head out with me but they wimped out the night before. The trip included visits to Ano Nuevo State Reserve (where a large protected area has been established for elephant seals pictured below), Butano State Park(which is full of Redwoods, oak, alder, and ferns), Pigeon Point lighthouse (built in the late 1800s), and Pescadero Marsh and State Beach. I had a great time, hiked about 10 miles, and took a few decent shots. Below are the 38 highlight shots - the other 300+ pictures are on my harddrive and will require a visit to CA to see!
