Here's pics from my visit to Point Lobos State Reserve on Saturday, August 24.  The reserve is a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from our home.  I had a great time hiking throughout the reserve which is essentially a small peninsula jutting into the Pacific located just south of Carmel.  There's a wide variety of sea life and plants on the reserve as you'll see in the pictures.  I arrived at the reserve at about 8:45 a.m. and left at about 2:15 p.m.  This was enough time to hike almost all of the trails in the reserve.
