OK - here's the first set of pics with the new Canon Digital SLR Rebel XTi camera - hope you start to see an improvement in the photos. The first set of pics were in the house with the new camera. The rest were of our day at Angel Island and San Francisco. Angel Island sits in Northern San Francisco Bay and is the biggest island in the bay. Jordi and I completed the full 4.5 mile 767 foot elevation hike from the cove to the top of Mt. Livermore on the island. There are spectacular views of San Francisco, Oakland, Alcatraz island, the Golden Gate bridge, and the North Bay area (Marin, Sausalito, Tiburon). Des and Randa stayed beyond and just hung out around the cove. Cody and Kelsey hiked most of the 4.5 miles but turned around near the top. The other pics are from Baker Beach on the San Francisco peninsula. It's a famous spot to take pics of the Golden Gate bridge for obvious reasons.Click a picture to see a larger view.
